EYC is our main Youth Group meeting each week.  We meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00pm-8pm to spend time in fellowship, learn and challenge our faith, explore different forms of worship and prayer and generally have fun.  These activities are usually lived out in the form of games, movie watching, lessons and worship music.  We also come together in communion around dinner brought by a parent volunteer.  We have a monthly rotation of activities that follows this schedule:

• 1st Sunday of each month – SunOne Youth Group Meeting
  • SunOne is a unique youth group comprised of students (6th-12th grades) from four different youth groups from the Austin area. Every first Sunday of the month the group strives to strengthen the relationship between Austin youth and Christ as we gather for worship, fellowship and discipleship. SunOne rotates between the four churches during the course of the year. Come check us out! Download the Sun One Flyer Here!
• 2nd Sunday of each month – Service Project
• 3rd Sunday of each month – Lesson & Discussion in small groups based on Journey to Adulthood classes.
• 4th Sunday of each month – Fun fellowship activities!
• 5th Sunday of each month – Either service, lesson/discussion or fellowship activities.

Our EYC dinners are a great chance for us to spend time as a whole Youth Group from grades 6-12 sharing a meal at the same table.  This is a great time to get to know new people.  Parents and Volunteers supply our meals.  Any parent or member of Good Shepherd interested in bringing dinner can contact Clint at CChaffin@gsaustin.com
